If you’ve ever been lucky enough to see a great guitarist in concert, up close, then you know what a magnificent experience it is. Watching a skilled expert get into a groove while playing guitar is truly a sight to behold. There is some kind of magic that happens when a guitarist takes of on an extended lead, and the rest of the band struggle to keep up.
Music in general has some kind of magical effect on the human soul. With music, you can express and feel emotions that you can’t otherwise do with mere words. Being able to express yourself through music is truly a gift to both yourself, and anybody lucky enough to hear you.
Many people would like to learn the guitar, but for some reason, think that it will be to difficult, or take too much time. Better performances are often considered to have been “The Quiet Man”, “The Shootist”, “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance”, “The Sands of Iwo Jima” and “The Searchers”. His 1954 movie, “The High and the Mighty” is one that was seldom shown for several decades. It is set aboard a flight from Hawaii bound for California that encounters problems halfway there. One of the many ways you can make money as a photographer is to specialize on events. Weddings, christenings, and all sorts of other events where people make memories can be lucrative business. The great thing is that all you need is a stack of business cards, and a good camera.
How to do it
Cover only events where it is hard for people to take the pics themselves and where they will want to keep their memories frozen in film.
One idea is to go to kids sports events. Get permission from the coach to click pics for the parents watching and then start clicking away. If you turn up with a huge telephoto lens like the ones used for pro coverage of events, you will be taken seriously. Make sure you get all the children doing great action shots and then hand out flyers to all the parents watching with your web address. If you can write down the parents email address so you can email them the URL of you site then upload the pics to your web site that day and email everyone.
