I’m about to reveal my story, as I understand that there are heaps of you out there who have been through what I have been through, dreaming of the day you’d finally have the ability to throw down a great, powerful dunk on the basketball court.

All that I can tell you is that I was exactly like you very recently. All of it changed nearly two years ago, which I’ll get to shortly. Before I begin, I’m going to give you a little background info about me. I’m Blake, I’m five foot 9, and I consider myself a somewhat good athlete.

During my childhood, basketball was always my #1 sport, and I sought nothing further than to figure out how to dunk. I’d watch the slam dunk contest on TV each season, dunk on the Nerf basketball hoop in my bedroom, and if there were any such thing as Youtube during those days, I can practically guarantee you that I would have watched it every, watching highlights left and right.

Anyway, I was on my high school basketball team. I was consistently a reliable competitor, one of the more skilled players on my team, but I was never able to dunk. It was a combination of my stature along with the fact that my quads, hamstrings, and calves (and some other issues that I’d afterward discover about) weren’t strong enough, and I had how to dunk a basketball.

I ultimately gave up on figuring out how to dunk a basketball. It was not the end of life as I knew it, although it was somewhat upsetting. Well, at least I was, in spite of this, a nice basketball player.

To sum up what happened next, a few more years went by after high school, and one day I ran into an old buddy named James. He was at least two inches shorter than me, and I saw him dunk right before my very eyes. I was extremely shocked!

James proceeded to introduce me to a method that altered the way I jump. I now know how to dunk a basketball…and I can dunk with flair.
