Halloween is celebrated throughout the world every 31st October. Streets are filled with spooky ornaments, shops are decorated with webs and creepy insects, and the children run about wearing their scary Halloween costumes. Halloween costume parties, not to forget, are popular amongst the people where people flock the venues wearing the Halloween costumes or the Halloween sexy costumes.
Although organizing a Halloween party can be real troublesome, but if you have someone to guide you for the same, everything becomes easy and effortless. There are many Halloween parties organized everywhere and everyone wants it to be different from the other. You might also want your party to stand out of the crowd where people would enjoy and will remember the party throughout their life.
You can start by choosing the venue of the Halloween costume party, making sure that it is spacious enough to hold the event, and can be easily located by the guests. A big, old house with lots of trees would surely create an ambience of fear and excitement at the same time for your partygoers! Have some decorations from the gate of the house up to the door, and you could make the doorbell create an eerie sound that will give goose bumps to everyone. A butler in a scary looking adult costume that will lead the guests to the main hall will be a great addition to the theme.
The invitations should have some of the Halloween theme with it! A black card with silver or orange letterings and pictures of ghosts, skeletons or pumpkins can excite the guests. Indicate on the card that the Halloween theme should be followed and those who won’t adhere to it should prepare for something nasty to happen to them! Some ideas on the punishment could include asking them to eat some gross looking cakes and cookies (but it should still be edible), or make him drink a juice that’s slimy and sticky in consistency. It will be a big hit for the people and some may even want to try it as a dare even if they came in the prescribed attire!
The real food for the guests should appear more palatable than those that will be used for punishment, but still with a sprinkle of Halloween in it. You can add some dry ice to an empty cauldron in the middle of the table, where someone dressed as a witch or in a Halloween sexy costume could stir it. And as much as possible, prepare food that won’t create much mess. Since most people would be coming in elaborate and well prepared costumes, they wouldn’t want to spill anything on it, spoiling the rest of their night.
Arrange for a dance contest where the best dancer still being spooky and scary, will be awarded for the performance. Other games and activities can also be organized. Be imaginative and decide for the games and other activities which match the theme. A bonfire will really add magic to the party, sitting beside which people can share some classic Halloween stories!
